On 3 November, “Le cuisinier en Combraille” will close its doors permanently. It is a moment to look back with melancholy on the 17 wonderful years we were privileged to spend with you, our loyal guests. All your involvement, your sincere encouragement and your kind compliments — we have not forgotten them! But it is also a moment to recognise with gratitude what we have achieved.
We thank you, all our faithful guests, for staying at “Le cuisinier en Combraille”, or as we often heard: at Cees and Jacco’s. We will remember you with great pleasure. Thank you!

Renovation works are underway, and we hope to open our self-contained holiday cottage for 4 guests in spring 2026 under the name “Domaine de Vivier.” Many things will change, but what will remain is the peaceful setting, the beautiful garden, the stunning views, the historic building, and the sense of well-being that has always been part of our place. We will be happy to keep you updated.

Finally, we would like to extend our very best wishes for the New Year. We are not saying goodbye—only “see you soon” in Vergheas.
